There will be a large effect on Asia’s society if this trend continues. Effects on Asia’ society will include a sharp decrease in Asia’s overall population, a drop in Asia’s economy, and more Asian men visiting prostitutes.

Firstly, there will be a sharp decrease in Asia’s overall population. This is mainly because women are needed in order for more babies to be produced. With Asia having 160 million less women, what will happen to Asia’s birthrate? Asia will not be able to replenish its man power and the population of Asia will decrease sharply. A recent research study showed that Asia’s population has decreased a lot already over the years, although the statistics were not reported. This just shows how great an impact on Asia’s population the sex-selective abortion has.

Secondly, this will also result in Asia having a bad economy. Women these days are very competitive; they have a great thirst for knowledge. Women go all out and strive for the best. This is a boost for Asia’s economy. A lot of CEOs from big companies these days are Asian women. This shows that Asia women are a great help to our industries and our economy will be much better with more women. However, now that Asia has 160 million less women, our economy is getting from bad to worse. A good example would be the tourism industry. There are many tourists who come to Asia, and many good tour guides are all women. Now that Asia has so few women, there will not be as many tour guides in future and less tourists would come to Asia. Therefore, this will lead to Asia’s economy becoming worse.

Lastly, this will also result in many Asian men visiting prostitutes. The large decrease in Asian women will result in many men not able to find themselves a wife. They are unable to get their sexual pleasures. Therefore, they will have an urge to visit prostitutes to satisfy their sexual desires. This has occurred in the past, and it is still an on-going issue. Many men are unable to find themselves a suitable life partner, and thus they decided to visit prostitutes. A recent study proves that this is true.

In conclusion, if this situation continues, Asia’s population will decrease sharply, it will have a bad economy, and it will also lead to many Asia men visiting prostitutes.
